Israel Changes Shipping Routes from Persian Gulf

According to the Sea News International service, MSC company announced that it has changed the route of its ships from the Persian Gulf. The report also states that following the seizure of the MSC Aries vessel by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces on April 13th, MSC Shipping Company, the only operator of container ships with connections to Israel in the Persian Gulf, has begun relocating its ships to other routes in order to enhance the security of its vessels.

With this change in route, several ships from various MSC services, including the Himalaya and Falcon Express services, have been relocated to new routes.

They have also stated that negotiations for the release of the crew of the MSC Aries vessel and the unloading of its containers with the Iranian Navy are still ongoing.
